The Problem:
The association, which manages 16 daycare centers (Krippen) and multiple after-school centers (Horte), needed a unified and professional digital presence. Their primary challenge was presenting complex, multi-location information in an accessible way. Parents needed a simple method to find specific centers, understand the different care offerings (daycare, flexible care, etc.), access registration forms, and find details on tariffs and opening hours. The administrative team required a backend system that was simple to update across all locations.
The Solution:
I developed a scalable and intuitive WordPress website, built on a fully dynamic framework. Using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and the JetEngine plugin, I created custom post types for “Locations,” “Job Openings,” and “News.” This structure allows the client to manage all 16+ centers from a single, easy-to-use interface. Key features include a “Find My Daycare” locator, dynamic service pages, and online registration forms, all of which pull data automatically. This ensures that information is consistent across the site and effortless to maintain.

- Dynamic Location Finder: An interactive map and filterable listing system (“Meine Krippe finden”) that allows parents to find the nearest daycare or after-school center.
- ACF/JetEngine CPTs: Custom post types were built for “Locations,” “Job Openings,” and “News.” Each location has its own dynamically generated page with unique details (contacts, maps, staff) pulled from a single data entry point.
- Online Registration Forms: Integrated forms for parents to apply for daycare (“Anmeldung – Kinderkrippen”) and after-school care (“Anmeldung – Hort”) directly on the site.
- Dynamic Service Listings: All service offerings (daycare, after-school, flexible care) and tariff information are managed dynamically, ensuring information is always current and consistent across the entire website.
The Results:
The new website successfully streamlines the user journey for parents, providing clear pathways to find locations and register for care, which has improved the intake process. For the client, the dynamic backend built with ACF and JetEngine has dramatically reduced administrative overhead. The team can now manage all locations, post job openings, and update news instantly without any technical knowledge, allowing them to focus on their core mission of providing quality childcare.
